About us...

When Stone Heritage, Inc. was formed in February 2001, a major goal for the group was to establish a museum on the property.  The value of preserving our past is evident in all that we do.

Soon, a temporary museum was established in the old snack bar in the Theater Building.  In 2005, the Officers and the Board of Directors decided to focus on the Main Floor of the Office Building.  Our membership accepted this challenge by donating necessary funds to the project and by giving their time and labor.

Much hard work had to be completed: new plumbing, a heating and cooling system, major cleaning and painting, and design planning were accomplished by both volunteers and contract personnel.

Once renovations were completed our membership again answered the call, gathering exhibit pieces ranging from large to small, common to rare, and everywhere in between.

The Stone Heritage Museum opened to the public on Memorial Day Weekend, 2006.

The Stone Heritage Museum is handicap accessible.
